I'm blaming last night on a guy at work. I've lent him Zeus: Master of Olympus and he finally got it to work over the weekend (some XP compatibility problem). I saw him yesterday morning and we had a chat about the game and he was telling me all about what he was doing, and how he was enjoying it. And hence started a burning desire to play Emperor again. And that's what I did. Almost all night was spent playing it, and it was so satisfying to see the Great wall of China being built under my command. I can't say enough how much I love this game!

I did manage to watch the Red Dwarf series 6 special features - they didn't feel as lengthy this time but I think that's because we didn't watch the deleted scenes. I liked the featurette they did about the music on Red Dwarf - the composer demonstrated some of the ways that the theme tunes had been used on the show in rearrangements for incidental music during the episode. He was a very good person for an interview, he was very chatty and it was interesting to watch.

I got a text last night from an unknown number asking for help with their laptop. It completely bamboozled me, and I was just trying to figure out who it was when I got another text saying who it was. It was a friend from work. We got his problem sorted, and I went back to my game. Tech support duties calls again! I don't mind it really, I just find it amusing that I'm at least good for something; being able to sort out niggles for people who haven't spent the last 10 years tied to a computer some way or another as I have. I'm still no expert by far, but I think I've picked up a few things. I'm probably getting better at 'driving blind' over the phone as well! Just don't call me when Dr. Who is on!
