So, I almost lost my job today...

...Because I spent like an hour socializing. But, to be fair, the person I was talking to had to wait around like two hours because I kept darting off to do things such as register, timers, fries, dining room and stocking.
The person in question? Schingen's once student teacher, Jenny.
She's amazing, and awesome, and totally worth talking to, especially since I hadn't seen her in forever. ;~; Imagine if I'd have been on back window or full-on dining room? Imagine the work that would've gotten done. *tsktsk*
So, yeah. I arranged a signal between me and Bill where he would Jazz-hands at the register if Lynn (the actual MOD) were coming. However, Bill was cleaning and Youa came running up to register and got my attentiong, so I left (in the middle of a sentence) and put away the broom and whatnot, then saw no manager was there and went to say good-bye to Jenny. As I was saying my good-byes, she suddenly got quiet, said "your managers watching" and I said "Oh" and kind of.. fell. ._. My good mood was suddenly deflated.
But, Lynn (one of my more strict and abiding managers) said "It's fine that you're socializing, just don't sit down and keep an eye on your work" :D Woo!
But, the manager Jen later told me that I could actually getfired for that. But, I'm not nearly as bad as Tyler is about it nor was it a repeat-offense, so I got off pretty lucky. We also got in new toys which I've happily played with (One of them looks like Mr. Time from Tertris Attack). I felt bad and shamed because everyone else was still working and I was decreasing productivity, but, all in all it wasn't too bad. :3 And I ended up in an over-all good mood at the end of the day. Plus, I should get about 20 hours on this up-coming paycheck, provided I get the minimum hours in (3 hours for the next 3 work days).

I'm going to Mark/Nichole's tomorrow
(probably around like 5ish 'cause I may want to walk Chewy around since we've been having phenomenal weather - warm! 40-60 degrees!).

Happy St. Patrick's day, you inebriated swines.

late, work, i call shenanigans!, legitimate entry what?
