I got an email from "Turtle Fans @ Zype" with a little packet of goodies I was asked to "leak" (although anyone who watched today's Fast Forward ep got all the info). Anyway, it looks like they are going to run the whole Ninja Tribunal plus the un-aired eps that got bumped in favor of Fast Forward starting February 9,2008. I'm thinking this is ( Read more... )

If they have been aired in Oz, I missed 'em! We're onto our second (yes second! GAH!) showing of FF here in Perth on the free to air channel. I don't get pay TV, so I have no idea if it's been screened there, or over in the Eastern States for that matter.

I'm glad the US is gonna get it though. If only because it means that hopefully (HOPEFULLY!!!!) 4kids has realized that the original style for the new toon was that much more popular than the FF style. And that means I can hold out a weak little flame of hope for some more of the good stuff down the track.

To the best of my knowledge, the next run of the 4Kids TMNT, after this wrap up of the Ninja Tribunal arc, will look like something in between the two styles. From Murphy's blog:

EDIT:
Try that again:

Ta Muchly! Cool lookin' stuff, though I don't understand why 4kids feels the need to 'stylize' the designs... Nyeh probably makes it easier for different artists to reproduce.

What I would really like to know though is; who's gonna be writing the new series. I hope like heck they come up with some decent rolling story concepts.

So cool that YOU have connections!!!!

But couldn't they have leaked a better screenshot of Splintie?

*grumbles*

I am so excited by this turn of events-- watching on YouTube is one thing-- watching it on TV is quite different!

My web site is listed with both Google and Yahoo now, so it's not that hard for someone to chase down fan sites.
I do think the whole interactive relationship between the fans and all aspects of the TMNT franchise is awesome, though.

MEEP!
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Oh, man, I really hope they'll bring it back to that style. FF has annoyed me so much I've deliberately slept past it on Saturday mornings.

This is amusing, because a couple of nights ago, I had a dream where the cartoon was still in that original style. And the Turtles, Splinter, April, Casey were all battling against some extreme, intense, horrible evil that was going to destroy Earth. Mikey was so badly wounded that the Turtles wound up being forced to expose themselves so they could get him to a hospital (he was dying), and it completely changed their lives. The dream ended with Leo, Don, Raph and Splinter standing outside the hospital being interviewed by pretty much every news outlet in the country. My subconscious assured me that Mike pulled through.

More Mikey torture....man, you love to hurt that guy. Even your *subconscious* gives him hell!
lol!

See my comment above to reijiro75 for a link to Murphy's sneak peek at the next season. A few entries later there are April and Casey prototypes, too.

I'm glad to hear they're finally airing it- although when are we gonna get our freakin dvds, huh??

;)

Also speaking as someone who's seen the whole thing, um...it's not as chintzy as it looks in the trailer. Honest. *G* And if you watch it after seeing FF, it's like you were drinking dirty ditch water and then you had your first mouthful of pure spring water. Mmm. Delicious!

Oh yeah- the "Lost Episodes" are totally beautiful.
Not that I would... uh... actually know that of course. But they are.
;o)

*pleased* That's really awesome news. I might have to see them on television now just to see what it's like - and, er, harass my roommates with TMNT on the living room television. >.>

I also should rewatch Fast Forward sometime... Unlike the majority (or at least a lot of people), I didn't mind it. It wasn't particularly amazing, but it was calming and goofy and had an interesting take on the turtles. Though I'm really looking forward to seeing what they're doing with the new stuff. *both nervous and excited*

Anyway, sorry, this was a random comment. <3
