Nom de Plume
I need one.
Over the past few years I've come up with a few, but they've been really, too exotic and better suited to erotica than horror. I may use one for exactly that for that genre, like I did for my fan fics, I'd like the distance. But I want something that will link with my real name, but isn't exactly the same. My last name has always always been problematic for me. I always felt, especially as a kid, that I had to explain it. "No, it's not Japanese, it's actually French. Well, sort of. It's Dutch. Dutch-French." My family on my father's side even made up a story about how the spelling had been changed from Omeaux which turned out to be totally false. So for the little girl who always felt sort of weird and "other" with her weird last name, and for the practical purposes of coming up with something more commercial and easy to remember, I need a name.

Donna G.-- No, they'll think I'm Kenny G's cousin.
Donna Gee.... oh golly wow....

DG Omo...Gomo...Domo.... arigatoo.... nevermind.
