Funny I was  just talking about this movie. I can forgive all the outrageous historical inaccuracies and the Disneyfication of the whole story cuz for me the ends justify the means.
I really like the message about respecting Mother Earth.  (And hey, there were at least two white guys who weren't total jerks. ;o))
