Torchwood 2x11 "Adrift"- er, SQUEE!
Wow, that was seriously the best episode of the season.
How much better was this episode than Gwen's super crappy less than stellar episode with the shoe fetish ghost dude last season?
I just loved this beginning to end.
Things that I liked:
* Andy. For one thing, Gwen does in fact have friends outside of Torchwood. Oh yeah, she also used to be a cop, and does in fact still interact with her former brethren. Plus she and Andy were totally cute together.
* Jack at the center of a conspiracy! With Gwen sort of suspecting him! (I was warped by LFN at very young age, so sorry.)
* OMG, we finally got our naked Jack/Ianto scene! During Gwen's episode, so awesome.
* Gwen's total non-jealousy in regard to Jack/Ianto's naked shenanigans coupleness. (Er, further proof that the show is heading for Jack/Ianto/Gwen OT3 or what?)
* After Gwen said that she was going to still look into the Missing Persons caseload, Jack says no and heads right back into the room and STRIPS for Ianto, yay!
* Ianto gave her the location, (and Jack totally figures that out in about half a second). Which immediately made me wonder what Ianto got up to in securing that intel.
* The consequences in showing Jonas' mother the truth and without magically making her forget it either (too late for RetCon after a week).
* Aww, Rhys was totally there for Gwen at the end, and just immediately overlooked their fight when he could tell how upset she was. Very sweet.
The writing for this was just so so good and next week looks unbelievably awesome!
