Title: Valley of Silence
Author: Nora Roberts
Year Published: 2006
Review: While I liked better the middle book of this 'Circle Trilogy,' "Dance of the Gods," I quite enjoyed this one. I've for some reason had the character of Cian in my head as Draco, from the Draco Trilogy fan fiction by Cassandra Claire, and thus, this character and book was highly enjoyable to me. Their love story was the best of the three, as they had SO much to overcome, what that one was a vampire and the other a Queen from a mystical land. I was really surprised as to the depth of fantasy that Nora pulled off with this series. I always love her as a author, but this series was SO different. I loved it. Totally recommend to all, especially those not inclined to romance novels, because this just isn't all about that (like to me, Nora isn't ever ALWAYS about that). Beware the bad editing job on the series, though, and if you can muddle through, yay!

Nora Roberts news: Lifetime is showing the following 4 movies, one every Monday, based off her books starting Monday January 29th at 9pm EST: Angels Fall, Montana Sky, Carolina Moon and Blue Smoke. See lifetimetv.com for more details.

On another note, what's the random consensus on whether I'd be allowed to count a piece of fan fiction as a book read, if the page count is high enough (i.e. over 200 pages)? There's a many I've yearned to re-read....
