squash (the sport)
actually reading good poetry for a class
hand written correspondence
red meat
beautiful, glorious avocados
penny loafers
jewish history class- always starts out the class analytical, distanced...and then as he talks about the issues gets into it and by the end it's like a religious service. we learned about how thanks to the kabbalah, jews can now reclaim the "divine sparks" that are present in "mundane" activities like getting drunk and eating cake.
modern china class- reading's boring so far, but will be okay. gonna do my conference work on race as a construct.
humor with teeth- we'll see.
sunday= took the van to the city, went to kiels, walked walked walked from village to the met.
