It's gift giving season! :D It's always so pleasant when people suddenly pop up and hand you gifts. Marian gave me a gift all of a sudden today [she was afraid she'd forget tomorrow] and wrote me a very long note in Chinese, telling me to work hard reading it! XD So cute.

At Hilltop: a boy of 12-13 comes in with his fashionable Asian mother, who starts looking at gifts for a "Raymond."
Boy goes to counter and picks up 5 $3.99 booster packs, and a Naruto figurine. Then after a while, he asks me to find him a laser-etched crystal of a dolphin, so I find it for him.
Then his mother comes back and ERUPTS. "What is this crystal thing? Only girls would like it. Who are you giving it to? Come on. WHO?!"
Boy: "Someone...just....someone!"
Mom: "Who is this? Is it a girl? Is it?"
Boy: *looks away and trying to get away from mom* "...maybe..."
Finally, the mom lets him buy it without saying who it's for, since the crystal was very cheap. Hehe....little kids are so cute.
