It all started with this emo-tastic image I found on my old photobucket album:
That's one thing I'll miss about myspace. Gradually updating my profile with images collected from sites like deviant art that reflected my current sense of self. Cruising though my old photobucket account presented a fascinating look into how my creative mood evolved.
I went through a massive 80's phase (largely inspired by my GTA: Vice City and Miami Vice obsession)
Then gradually to something more avant garde:

Oh, and I really loved monkeys!
...and I guess at some point I decided I was going through some sort of Gothic, (for lack of a better word) "exotic" kick:
