Mochi: it's not just an ice cream dessert

 Adrian returned home from Singapore last weekend, (after having been gone for five whole weeks : O)
After his last trip where he stayed over in Japan for a week I begged him to bring home another box of airport mochi.

I joked that he needed to buy at least $50 worth when he changed planes at Narita Airport and I'd compensate him.  He took me seriously and bought $70 worth....

This is the first box



I wonder if this may be a type of "seasonal" mochi, given the natural colors theme and nutty flavor.



To me these look a lot like pecan sandies.  I love the attention to detail even in its simplicity.



I think the happy wrapper on the right is touting the wonders of ceylon. That's what I gathered with my limited katakana
knowledge



This is like one of those sick cartoon ads where the product is happy to be eaten.



Mmmm....greentea with red bean filling.  



Whoo-hoo! Mochi on a stick! How convenient!
