oh it is very okay, i am postponing my real life, i am eligible for this quatar scholarship business for 8 semesters but i have only received it for 4 because i got it starting as a junior. it is full tuition. to get the two degrees i am getting, i need 150 credit hours to my name which i am 18 away from, and though it is feasible to take 18 hours this semester like i did this past semester, i just realized wouldn't it just be smarter to take 12 hours and take 6 in the fall/however many i want in the fall because my tuition will be paid for for up to 4 more semesters? i am sorry, as much as i hate this school, i just don't want to grow up. i am however concerned that i will not be invited to the proper class reunions years from now...you will just have to let me know when they are and i will crash them/come as _________'s date. plus, i think i will be able to do a more reasonable job on this honors thesis if i don't have to take five other classes at the same time.
i know. i know. it is ridiculous to stay here when generally i am so sad about it, but this will give me more time to come to terms with becoming/being an adult. doesn't everyone just need more time?? (see above for details...)
also i can decide if i want to do a 4+1 plan in psychology (which i'm too late for this semester since i never looked into it/applied/took the gre)
i am not sure that i really want to, i just need more time to figure it out. plus, (as stated above, it is free except for housing/food).
They are pretty flexible about deadlines with the 4+1 program. If I don't get into any grad schools, I can still get in to the program and just stay for next year and get a masters. At least the anth department is nice about it, but I bet the pysch one is too.
