I'm nearly 22 years old and all I have to show for it is a car my grandmother gave to me, lodgings paid for by my mother, and a few unhealthy friendships/romantic relationships.
An old friend and her fiance are trying to get a new apartment and I'm trying to tag along. When I told my mother she almost cried and asked if "this" was what I was going to do with the rest of my life (cue my potential flickering out) but I don't even what 'this' is.
