It seems there's been some invisible motion in the past few days. Over the past few years I've wondered, often aloud, whether there were permaculturists doing anything in Haiti, the poorest nation in the western hemisphere, and finally I've started to hear some feedback about long-term projects, as well as this:
http://punkrockpermaculture.com/2010/01/13/haiti-earthquake-permaculture/ So I sent Evan an email expressing interest in being kept up-to-date, and a few days later found that I had been made
a regional coordinator on his site in the latest update. Well, I knew the other two New York coordinators, so I figured I'd pretend I actually knew what I was doing and start sending out emails.
And that's where it stands for me, for now. It figures that this would happen at exactly the moment that I've completely run out of cash, and am searching desperately for any kind of employment. Well, there's never any shortage of unpaid work, I always say.
Here we go again!
