i don't know whether to feel intellectual or common.

You're anything but 'common.'

I was thinking about this very subject the other day. Even though I like to think of myself as different, or eclectic I do the same things other people do; usually in the same way. I have to eat, sleep, shave, shower and all that - just like everyone else. I like the same games as millions of other people. I've read the same books. Seen the same movies.

But those aren't the measure which makes me unique; they simply form the baseline from which I depart the norm. You're different in interesting ways too.

I plan to hit the Faire sometime this month, probably Thanksgiving Friday. Want to go?

well, i haven't read most of them, and those that i have read (with the sole exception of to kill a mockingbird,) i disliked. so i don't know whether to feel stupid or unique.

I'm sorry! Don't beat yourself up too badly. You'll likely wind up with a 90 instead of a 98 for the class. They both equal out to and "A".

Condolences on the test. Hope you can get back on the horse, even if it's covered in strange squiggly patterns that are hard to read.:)
