Relaxation....
I am without kids or husband this weekend. Just me and the dogs in theory. However last night, I had two teen boys for way later than I should have because it took forever for them to weed the gardens. So I watched some tv read some email and just chilled. I was going to colour my hair last night, but I thought I would have to drive them home so I waited. The good thing about them being about, is that they cleaned up some left overs I had to get rid of. I still went to bed fairly eary.. this not sleeping well sucks.
This morning I had 4 teen girls at my door by 9 am to drive out to the lake and exchange for 1 teen boy. I think I got the better of the deal over my ex. I am however imitating a Hutterite woman today. I got up at 730 and washed and coloured my hair. put a kerchief over the plastic cap and put on one of my long flowered dresses and away I went. We stopped at a garage sale on the way back from the lake, Roth got a Starcraft book and a 1970's lava lamp, and I got a second visions corning wear dutch oven and the frying pan. They had a blue enamel bread bowl with lid... but they wanted $52 for it. So I never inspected it. But I would love to have it for baking bread. They were supposed to have a sharpening blade for knives.. but could not find it.. but they have my number if they do. Its one of the old fashioned ones with a bone handle. I needs it.
I need to go grocery shopping, but overall I have a weekend to do what I want.
Tonight is ladies night in. Wine and goodies and good conversation. I look forward to it. Sunday will be a bit busy... after my sons baseball game, I shall return him to the lake.. and retrieve 4 teen girls, whom I expect to sleep the whole way home, as I doubt they will have gotten any before then... then hopefully back in time to go to BINGO with the parental units.
