LOL...outed self-loathing gay ex-NJ Governor McGreevey on the Today Show this morning, calling for "compassion" for Argentinophilic not-yet-ex-SC Governor Mark Sanford. Umm, no. Mr. Sanctity of Marriage should just kill himself if he has any honor at all, and that's not a suggestion I would ever make lightly. Pity his family if you must but Sanford deserves no sympathy, and if he used taxpayer funds for his little romps, he needs to be removed from office and possibly imprisoned, or at least compelled to pay the money back.
Much as I'm enjoying watching the GOP self-destruct, it's all gotten a bit much. They're not a viable opposition party anymore. Like Freddy Krueger or that hockey mask guy, I guess they'll rise again for yet more sequels, but the Dems need to get their shit together and push a progressive agenda NOW while they can. *sigh* Not that I think they will. :(
