Title: The Swear Jar
Word Count and Rating: 100, PG-13
Summary: Parents need to watch their mouths around their children.
Notes: Written for prompt #52 for dramionedrabble's holiday challenge: "My father worked in profanity the way other artists might work in oils or clay. It was his true medium, a master." --A Christmas Story

“What a ridiculous Muggle idea.”

Hermione set the jar in front of Draco. “Profanity may be an art form to you, Draco, but it's bad for the children. Muggle idea or not, the swear jar will clean up your foul mouth.”

“I'm not affecting our children!”

“Mummy?” Four-year-old Holly, looking particularly angelic with her blonde curls and pink dress, suddenly held up her paper and a crayon and asked, “How do you spell 'fuck'?”

Draco cringed. While Hermione demanded to see the letter Holly was writing to Father Christmas, Draco slipped a Galleon into the jar on his daughter's behalf.
