A/N: Well, a little someone needs some light on her road, so I decided to pull both her and hebi!Zoro from their little misery... I hope there was no grammar-mistakes or typos... ;^;'
Story: Hebi!Zoro is devastated. His owner, Sanji, is giving him less and less attention, and even dares to bring him the reason to it! But, what if that mosshead is bringing something good with him...?
He felt cold that day. Not his usual coldness since his body couldn't heat up itself, no, the lamp above him was burning with the usual heat. Instead, there was some kind of dread running through his long, slim body.
Sanji had been in an awfully good mood lately, he had thought. The blond had been dancing to even more girlish music, laughed and talked on the phone for hours. Though, he had also cursed and banged the doors and smoked like a chimney. He had in other words been even more lively and passionate than usual.
And it disturbed Zoro where he lied in his terrarium, unable to understand what his human was so excited about. One of those gatherings humans had? A new female?
The second thought made him turn towards the wall, glaring at it as if he would attack it and strangle it to death. No, he wasn't sulking. But he couldn't deny that the thought of sharing his Sanji made him... Uncomfortable. He was so used to being the cook's only lasting relationship, used to the petting and the feeding. So the thought that someone might take that from him made him angry.
But still he lifted his head when he felt how the vibrations from the front door closing behind the blond even reached his cage of glass. His bowl with food had been filled to the brim earlier that day, and removed as soon as he had had his fill. He wondered why, usually he could just eat as much as he wanted to.
Though all thoughts about food was kicked out of his little head when Sanji entered the bedroom. And no, it wasn't that the man took the cold breath out of him. It was that a man with green hair followed his blond owner...
He hissed towards the stranger, but it had no affect on the unfamiliar man, who just calmly put a box down on the cook's bed. A bed the blond had been sleeping in not that often lately. The sounds the two men produced as they moved their lips were uninteresting to Zoro, as he tried to catch their attention.
And when the green haired man finally walked over to the terrarium, he rose up even more and made himself as big as possible. No one would think he could take Sanji from him!
Since yes, he could smell his owner on this bastard, and he realized that it was of the bastard his owner had been smelling these days. It was clear as day to him, the two were mates. And the thought tore at his slowly beating heart.
Though said heart picked up pace, as much as it could, when the man walked back to the cook and said something again. Now, the snake could make out his own name, 'Zoro', but it didn't say him much about the subject the two were discussing, since now they walked back to his cage with that box. When the stranger moved the lid, he tried to reach him, but failed and cursed himself.
But when Sanji, picked up something yellow from the box, he froze on the log he lied upon. That yellow thing was long, slim and... Beautifully lethal.
Yes, those were the words to best describe the snake that was put down into his terrarium, that day when his owner's lover moved in. Not that he really understood that until later, well after the introduction and wrestling-match he and the other snake engaged in.
He was too absorbed by getting to know this new 'Sanji'...
