To all those of you who are done with classes and can start spring breaking:
kiss my ass.
i'm still truckin. thankfully, the great and wonderful gabby will be truckin with me tonight. anyone for a little chem? that girl saves my ass so many times!
i need to go home. if for no other reason than i am tired of wearing majorly uncomfortable underwear because i have no clean laundry.
yesterday was the best st. patricks day of all time. it was simple, but the combination of film canisters, a crazy roomie, one damn awesome RA, an unexpected phone call to say goodnight, and a little note from a sexy friend, combined to one hell of a time. that, and the fact that i was surrounded by so much green. not quite enough, mind you, but more than usual so that was grand.
this morning i played with cars with this little boy and made all the noises and everything and was almost late to class because of it. i love tues and thurs mornings.
here are the plans for spring break:
1pm Fri: DRIVE HOME!! (calls while i'm on I-5 are always welcomed...)
SAT: breakfast with the mom, and then getting the nails done with the mom (manicure AND pedicure! oh gosh...my feet...ugh!) then we're goin to see my godmother in a performance in oakland.
SUN: possibly brunch with my "aunt" (she's not actually related) and then sun night is an admissions event with my parents in san francisco.(hey, it gets my gas paid for...woo hoo!)
MON: visit brenna during the day and all her crazy friends, admissions event that night in berkeley, crash at brenna's
TUES: meg visitation? lunch with dad, admissions event in Santa Clara
WEDS: haircut!!!!!! (thanks to the generosity of the padre) lunch with my godmother (possibly the godfather will be makin an appearance...gosh i MISS them!!) in Alameda
THURS:the ranch. 'nuff said.
FRI:lunch with dad, stomp with mom that night
SAT:lil sis' play with high school friends
SUN: return to whittier.
um, can we say that it sounds like i'm never gonna stop driving? and does that sound like much of a BREAK to you? eh...no matter, i'm stoked to see everyone and i hope it all works out and i hope i dont get burned out.
oh, and on a side note, i have THE BEST parking spot in the ball lot...just in time to pack for spring break. gotta love the small joys of life.
and on an entirely different note...HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my dad and ash thomp!!
pay checks come out tomorrow. just in time...
