I booked some dates with friends next week to try and fill up the week to help me fill the hole in my life (I made it myself). I really had good hopes about this one. Wow, I'm gonna miss those free showers. Back to the $1 swims.
Apparently digital backs for 4x5 scan the image one line at a time and perhaps the info goes onto a laptop's external portable drive and the files are immense. Maybe someday the companies will make a digital back that scans faster at a less impressive resolution, for small-time consumers like me.
I've got my toque and rainjacket for the party tonight. I'm reading some Louis L'amour novels so that I can soak up the the toughness of all of those cowboys.
Must go to the new show at Monte Clark, the new Spartacus, and have to go to the cleveland dam sometime soon. Did I mention I've been shooting medium-format film like a fiend?
