So!!! Quite a bit has been going on lately!!!!! I've tried new things... had some fun.... Pretty cool stuff!!! School started Monday! I'm soooo glad to be back!! MCC is wonderful... too bad I can't stay there forever, lol. My schedule consists of thus:
MWF:
Historical Geology 8-10 (oy...)
Walking for Life 10:20-11:15
Band 12:40-2:25
TTH:
Microcomputer Applications 11:10-12:05
Microcomputer Applications Lab 12:40-1:35
and then I'm taking US History from 1877 and Contemporary Health on the internet... health is a flextrack and doesn't start for like another month.. woohoo. I looove MWF! It's so relaxing, and I love that I'm taking walking... it'll be nice to have some routine exercise in my life!
This weekend was soooo awesome!! Erin and I drove up to Dallas on Friday.... it took roughly three hours though... it was pouring elephants... and it was dark... and there was a lot of traffic.... it was quite an interesting drive... that's fo sho.... we got in at 7... so I guess it only took 2.5 hrs... oh well. Then almost went straight to Chili's with Shelby, her roomie Jen, and Gayle... fuuun times! Our waiter was cool... they said he was hitting on me... maybe he was... who knows? haha. Then this is where the fun starts...... we went to a tattoo shop... I got my nose pierced!!! It looks really cute :) It's just a little silver stud right now. Nothing too showy or gawdy. I luuurv it.
Saturday night was the bomb.... RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS concert!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gnarles Barkley opened..... the first song they did was a cover! The Wall by Pink Floyd!!! But then after that... he kinda sucked... all his music sounds the same. oh well... man, when RHCP came on stage.... it was amaaaazing!!! They opened with Can't Stop! One of my favorites.... so exciting!! I can't believe we were actually in the same room as Anthony, John, Flea, and Chad.... awwww man! They played a bunch of stuff... then around 10:30 Flea said their goodbyes... and they left the stage.... standing ovation of course.... then Chad Smith came back on stage... and did a drum solo... of course the crowd went wild... then John Frusciante and Flea came back on stage... and they jammed for a few mintues... then finally Anthony came back.... and they played Under the Bridge!!! AHHH! It was soooo awesome! Everyone in the room was singing... it was so awesome. Then they did Give it Away... and Anthony left the stage for good.... but the rest of the guys jammed for about 15 minutes..... totally heaven... omg.... words honestly can't explain how amazing it was.... We were home by midnight... and had an amazing pizza from Poppa Johns... mmmmm... hung out a little bit and went to sleep.... drove home earlier than I had intended to on Sunday due to the potential for icy weather.... but yeah... awwwesome weekend!!!
And now... Steven and I are going to start dating... so it's been a pretty eventful few days... lol.... I'm gonna spend the night with Becky tonight... Hopefully hopefully hopefully school will get canceled tomorrow!!!!! A&M got canceled... lol... and it was their first day back too! Well... I'm gonna go.... ciao!
