my day in Gympie

Sep 18, 2005 21:18

Well I woke up at 6am. I haven't done that since... yesterday... ahahahaha... but yesterday I woke up that early because I'm scared of my alarm clock. Well not scared that it'll beat me over the head repeatedly... I just hate the noise... I hate waking up to it... I guess I am scared of it because a large percentage of the people who have had heart attacks have had them in the early morning because of the shock of their alarm clock. Anyway... I woke up at 6am. My folks live on a farm about 15 minutes drive from Gympie... well 10 minutes... depends on what car and who's driving. Their house is about 200m away from the highway. It's on a hill and the highway is like 200m belowish. I'm a light sleeper so I woke up. After rolling around in bed for an hour and a half I decided to go shock my parents by walking into the kitchen at 7:30am (I'm not a morning person... I'm what my brother calls a "night chick") They were shocked... I was equally as shocked. I walked straight to my mum for one of her hugs... didn't even notice Scott and Kel and Jed (my brother, his wife and their son) were also standing in the kitchen. So I got to hold my 4 month old nephew while my ma and pa and scott and kel ate breakfast. After that I don't know what I did... there's a whole hour there that I forgot. I taught Kel how to play rugrats after that... she couldn't coordinate her left and right hands so we played a duet instead. Then I told ma I was going to town to buy material so I could make me something... she came with me because she wanted to buy a shirt. We got to Millers and she started trying on clothes so I left her there and went to the material shop... I couldn't find the mickey mouse and goofy material that I wanted to so I went to crazy clarks and bought a red bull coz they're lots of fun. Then walked back to Millers and found my mum and also found some kids toys so I played with them for about 2 minutes then left mum in millers again and sat outside on a chair and this dog walked past so I growled at it then I whistled and it walked over to me so I told it to sit and it did... read its collar 1935.. it was walking around without an owner so I decided to save the day and find its owner. So I got up and walked down the street and whilsted every now and then so it'd stop dilly dallying. Then it found another dog which was on a leash and decided to pick a fight. The owner of that little fluffy dog that had issues with the leash glared at me and told me to get my dog a leash.. then someone else yelled at me "you should get your dog a bloody leash". I said to them that it wasn't my dog and that I was looking for the owner and they didn't believe me then some old dude said to me"that's your dog?? he's been walking around all morning" and I said "she's not my bitch.. *giggles*.. I'm looking for the owner" so I kept walking along with this dog then realised it had been at least half an hour since I'd left my mum... so I gave up my search and bid farewell to my new found friend then tried finding my mum. "She's about yay high... has hair.." I say to the ladies at Millers "you're the girl with that played with the toys aren't you? your mum left a while ago" so I walked to the next millers type store and there she was. I decided that mum didn't need more pink floral shirts in her cupboard so I convinced her to buy a green shirt... took me about half an hour to convince her and it did take a bit of help from the storeperson but she finally bought it. Ooh!! she let me drive her car. It's nice to drive but it's weird coz it has power steering and my car.. well that's the reason why I'm so strong. We went home and said ciao to my dad and Key and Aunty Lesley.. they're all going to Fiji on a mission trip. Dad was making me all jealous this morning "pack a port and come with" if only there were spare seats on the plane then I would have... I miss my fijian friends. THEN!! mum and I decided it's party time... we watched drop dead fred. That's about it... I love that movie. I found it funny. And that dude... ahahaha... the young ones... "Vivian.. answer the phone vivian". Well my mum wants to do some more partying so she's taking me to McDonalds for dinner - laugh it up Kass. I've been feeling like I'm going to vomit all day and now woah... fun times for Aunty Peen. Ooh!! I saw my neice last night - she's soooooo cute and is all grown up. She was just about to pray for me when I walked in and she got all excited and started jumping on the bed. Awww... and Reuben and Sheril were like "you look so good!!! like you've had a huge weight lifted off your shoulders.. you're glowing... it's great!!!"... it was odd but I thought about it and I guess all I can say is Cast your burdens *clap clap clap* unto Jesus *clap clap clap* he cares for you <-- old sunday school we used to sing all the time. I guess I was pretty depressed when I didn't have a job... now I'm working at KFC I'm still not overly excited about life but I have a job so that's good. Well I think this blog is long enough. Fare thee well.
