Well the last employer I worked for is fighting my unemployment even though none of it will be paid out of what they paid me. But in the determination one of the main points is that I failed to complete a powerpoint presentation on time. I guess they figured that it's their word against mine and that I can't prove it. They can just say "what file".
But what I had done was so obviously over the head of my supervisor. To get a 25 meg file to Britain over night I did what most of us seem as second nature. I used one of the file-sharing sites which can move a 25 meg file easily. So I logged into the site to see if it was still there and sure enough, there is was with the upload date posted next to it which is the day I was discharged.
So I changed the email and password for the account to make sure that none else would delete the file. When I have my hearing I'll be curious to see how they explain that the file they said I didn't do is sitting on a MediaFire and is shown to have been downloaded multiple times. I call this "protecting the evidence."
Sometimes I feel bad when I give a technologically-challenged person a boot to the ass. Wait a minute, in this case, no I don't...
