The screen on my iMac has gone a little wonky. The top half is darker than the bottom half. And the bad thing is, it's out of warranty. Choices are:
Pay to have the iMac repaired.
Buy a MacMini to replace it.
Buy a monitor for the iMac.
I thinking that since it's primary use is as my TV I should just buy a nice monitor to use as a TV. it will make the desk a little crowded but it seems like the best alternative. Plus I can actually purchase something bigger than 20". And even though the iMac's screen is a bit hard to use it could easily be used as a second monitor.
