This and That
Was away for the weekend. Nice to get out of the apartment. Also nice to be able to step out the backdoor and into a yard (curses the sixth floor apartment).
Garden is coming along nicely although we have a few failures. Not one of the parsnips we planted came up. :( I was really looking forward to these, especially for the ones I wanted to elave int he ground till next spring.
We had a laid back 4th. And since Greensburg does it's major fireworks on Memorial Day there were none to go see (at least close by) so we stayed home.
And for the evenings' entertainment we watched the final episode of Doctor Who's series 5 (I refuse to call this series 1). ALl in all it was a fun series and I'm looking forward to series 6 next spring... and of course the Christmas special late this year... and the Sarah Jane Adventures with Matt Smith. Nine months is a long time to wait...
