Live from Hamilton
Hello cheery chaps.
I'm kind of having a hard time finding a farm, so I'm definitely still in Hamilton staying with my Kiwi compatriot. That's ok, though. I'm sleeping like, 12 hours a night and I got to see kiwi birds and ostriches yesterday and a black-sand beach today. The best part about the black-sand beach is that when the water is on it, it's like a mirror, so it's a reflective surface. And you know how I like those reflective surfaces.
Um, people drive on the other side of the road here, and there's lots of hella green pastures with cows and sheep and baby lambs. Yesterday we stopped at this angora bunny place and the lady who ran it brought out a rabbit for us to pet, and that was rad, but then she brought out this possum puppet and she was like, trying to get us to believe it was real, and I was about to be like "um, you know you're a nutcase right?" but it turns out she was just acting like that as a sales tactic, one which happened not to make me want to buy her possum. We did however buy a bottle of kiwifruit wine so that we would not feel bad about using her for her rabbits.
I wish these farm people would get back to me though. I don't just want to look at baby lambs from a car. I WANT A BABY LAMB FOR REAL.
