Lalalalalalalaaaaaaa. Last night at the faux fireworks show Danette Foster made the comment that I looked really good and happy. And I was like YEAH THAT'S CAUSE I AM. Then I talked to Lisa Ekman, who has been in New Zealand for the last 6 months or something, and she was like "New Zealand is the best and I'll help you find out all the best places to farm." And then I started talking hardcore shit about republicans and took some pictures of this huge promotional Spam truck next to the Salmon Street fountains. There were these girls riding their bikes around the fountains at 11 pm eating little tiny Spam burgers, and I thought it was quite wonderful. Then my shirt busted open because of my humongous boobs and the button was broken so Richard Duke had to give me one of his safety pins so I would not be Hella Indecent.
Maybe tonight I will go see the Real Fireworks Show at the waterfront... but maybe I WON'T. After all: Rose Festival is about many things, like Fun!, but it is also about choices. Like the choice not to get on that ride that just flings you up in the air in a really vomit-inducing manner. How much would you have to pay me to do that? Um, a kajillion dollars. Pshaw.
