Neighborhood suicide guy

When I woke up this morning I found my mom leaning over the living room window and looking at the side. I scared her half to death when I joined her (moving very quietly).
Anyways, she was looking at the security measures police and the fire brigade put up in the morning or late last night. Some poor guy climbed at the roof two buildings away from me and was threatening to jump. Poor bloke, he has been there all night.
No one could get him down; but they even brought him up some food and smokes. Talk about determination and helpful neighbors. And so he stood there for hours to come, not jumping but refusing to come down. Some of his friends came and tried to talk some reason into him. But what I found the most darling about the whole thing was my mom.

Ahhh...Nothing breaks my mom. She will even in the most tragic circumstances find the time to be an annoying gossip. Good the see human values are still held high. Although I see what she means, he is standing on the ledge... he could just
So how does the story ends? The guy’s brother apparently had enough. He came close and offered his bro some smokes. When he reached for them he pulled him down on the roof. My mom tells me they dragged him off into a car and to the nut-house in a wheel chair and a straitjacket.

random, personal
