Seme & Uke
I had an argument with a friend about uke & seme positions. She said how you can’t put someone who is shorter to be uke. I was like: WTF?!
I think it’s just that whole male idiocy that has rubbed of on women. Like the uke’s (read: women’s) role is to be pretty, feminine and lying on the trail road screaming “Save me superman!”
Blah…. Hello!? Ever heard of a dominatrix? A uke can be empowered to.
I’m getting frustrated now.
Being a uke has noting to do with personal strength, beside there is always someone stronger…>_> I guess it stayed with most people. You know how at first yaoi was always presented like a malexfemale relationship. A dysfunctional one, mostly. You have a uke: feminine, weak, confused, abused, lost, terrified, broken, crying and felling sorry for himself. I can see how that can be alluring! Hell, I like a good abuse fic. But it shouldn’t be generalized.
And on to the seme: Always superior in every way, mostly rough and heartless and cold, but sometimes they really do love theirs ukes, big muscles, horrible hair…
