72+ I'M BACK and GLAD OF IT
okay.Forget everything that happened previously. Because its completely totally, over. I'm going to stick with this LJ and make it work. Because i think i change blogs too often.=D
Narrative: Had a wonderful day out yesterday.Spent the morning watching tv with my family. Then me, mum and dad went to Plaza singapura to eat lunch at secret recipe. The lamb was delicious. haha Then eushed down to meet Lulu at orchard MRT. and somehow the toot managed to get her creative mp3 to break. =D then we rushed to Lido to try and catch tickets for oliver twist, and we started running because there was a notice saying selling fast. But it was so funny because our earrings were big that day and they were literally jiggling which was [ i don't know whhy, but] very funny. Anyway the moment we joined the queue. the tickets were sold out. SO we rushed over to cini leisure to try to get tickets. And we got so pissed with the guy/girl [i'm not too sure] at the counter because he kept talking on the handphone and kinda/purposely/accidentally/intentionally/on purpose refused to attend to us. Whereby we started stupidly and futiely jabbing at the screen whre they displyed all the stuff and realised that all the stuff was going to drop. Luckily, it didn't. haha. ANYWAY. after that we got good seatsand realised that we had 1 and a half hours left to the movie. SO we walked around Cini then headedover to Heeren where we managed to walk through all the shops.Saw this awesome wallet which i wanted to buy and then this purse, that bag, that shoes. And so on, you know me haha. Then we went to paragon saw a reallyreallyreally nice pencil box wallet and flipflops again. haha and Lucinda of course saw her ahemahem.WHICH i confirm to her by the way is an actor. HAHA. ANYWAY. next thing haha. We watched the show and the review will be coming up soon. haha anyway after that we rushed off. Her to go for her bs meeting. And me to skip Bible study[ bs] meeting and run off to meet my parents. So i met them and we went to crystal jade to eat. And the noodle was really great. And then i headed to home to catch die another day for the 6th time on star movies. hurrhurr. After that i waited for Lucinda to call me to talk one last time because she was leaving for china tomorrow which means today. cause yesterday's tomorrow is today and thus today's tomorrow would be saturday and she's leaving on friday which basically means forget it she left today. RIGHT. anyway waited and waited and waited and waited and waited and waited dropped off to sleep.Todl her to hurry up and go home so we could conference and have a CLicK[ cheryl, lucinda, kexin] call before she left. Cheryl said she had training the next day so she needed to sleep already. ANd then me too dropped off to sleep. Woke up at 4 am. There was a storm brewing outside. Then dropped of to sleep gain woke up at 7.25 and hurriedly called Lucinda for a last kisskiss muahmuah goodbye. ANd she'sprobably touched down in China by now. Tiday i ate a donught, read the englosh newspapers finished the pulitzer rpize winner book : disgrace which was absolutely entralling and enchanting. Watched the show; the company. Took out my oldoldoldoldold pointe shoes and decided that they weren'tso old and since i couldn'r wear them anymore and i wasn't doing pointe classes for another year would donate them to junior at ballet school. Choreographed dance for upcoming ballet performance light rain and then danced madly to the tunes of maiksim. Watched 8 simply rules to date my teenage daughter and came up with a stupid cheerleading routine for myself.Then ate a chillidog made my my mum for lunch, watched the oprah winfrey show! and then here i am.

Movie Review: Oliver Twist
Short view:Oliver twist is a moving and absolutely touching story that you should watch because it teaches a few lessons in life. ANd just closing your eyes and reallylistening to the music is worth your money spent. Basically, a boy:oliver twist is an orpham, he works ar a few odd places where people treat him badly, for example the workhouse and Mr sowberry's house. He walks a little morethan 70 miles to London where he meets the ARtful Dodger who brings him to meet Fagin.Oliver learns how to steal, although he doesn't really know its stealing he thinks its called the game. He gets caught when going out to steal with the artful dodger but he doesn't steal AD is the one who steals, anyway he gets caught and a kindly oold man, [Mr Brownlow] takes him in as his ver own. One day on an errand for Mr brownlow, oliver gets caught by the artful dodger, and is taken back to Fagin and the money rhat he was carrying for Mr brownlow is taking my fagin's bad 'un Bill. ONe night oliver is taken bacl to Mr brownlows house to steal things. Birll and another guy sneaks oliver through a small hole in the house. And asks oliver to open the door.Oliver goes inside the house where he accidentally wakes up the maid, and starts calling for help as he obivously wants to let mr brownlow know the truth. Bill shoots olvier in the arm. Then all 3 of them run away Bill falls into a river. ANd oliver gets carried bacl to Fagin's house by the other guy. Then Bill gets a extremely high fever he calls fagin to his house and then tells fagin that they would have to killoliver. Nancy, bill's wife who has a soft spot for oliver overhears. ANd tries to save oliver. SHe goes to mr Brownlow's house and aks the maid, Mrs Bedwin to pass a message to Mr Brownlow to meet her at london bridge at 12 mignight and if she's not there the first night just keep going there and soon she will appear. Nancy finally gets to meet mr brownlow and tells him the truth without revealing Bills name as although he trats her badly she stillloves him.SHe quickly sneaks back home and goes to bed so as not to raise Bill's suspicion when he comes back. Unknown to her, fagin has asked the artful dodger to "dodge"or follow nancy. AD hears everything and runs home to tell this to Fagin unfortunately bill was also there and upon hearing what nancy had done, he rushes home. ANd brutally kills her to death by bludgeoning her with a stick.Bill is soon wanted for murder, onhis "wanted" poster description, it says that he is accompanied by a fierce white dog. He wuickly tries to drown the dog at a nearby river, but fails as the dog bites and struggles and then runs away. Bill rushes over to where Fagin is and then tries to hide there.The clever white dog leades the police to the place where bill fain and oliver are.Bill uses oliver as a bargaining tool hiding behind them as the police will not shoot. He uses a rope which was hanging down from a crane to swing himself over to the other sjde of the house as he thougt he would have a better chance of escaping he carries oliver and both of them swing to the other side successfully.Oliver is safe and as Bill takes off the rope from his body he slips and accidentally hanges himself. Bill dies, oliver goes to Mr Bronwlows and later on Fagin is sentenced to death.
The end.
The show really manages to place you in London in the 18th century.WIth dirt dingy houses scyrrying rats, and ragmuffins and street urchins everywhere.Known as the era of brass housing the show inteprets the black, bronze approach of that era very well. Music adds to the whole conceptof the show brinig you to all the highs and lows of the chracters. The acting is superb, with the ArtfulDodger doing a wonderfuljob. Fagin is a colourful character and is also played very well. The movie although a littlelong of a out 2 hours, maybe draggy at times with oliver just getting passed baxck and forth good and bad and he being torn between innocence, but the ending is to die for.And you all should go watch it. Its a sadsad story but it reveals itself to be moret than just a story of good reigning evil The ending part of the story i did not tell you and thats for you to watch yourself. Because it is truly touching and i cried.
Rating : 3 and a half stars. 1/2 a star taken off for boring dialouge. And one startaken away for the director being unable to let the feel off oliver's plight at the start of the movie come through.

This has been a VERY VERY VERY VERY looonng post so i'm going to sit down with another book now, Trust me by lesley pearse with a glass of coke and lemon, a plateful of Marks and Spencer garlic and herb bictuits, my dog curled up in my lap, my diary ready at the ready for any literary notes to make and enjoy. And then tonight, i'm going to start studying my biology for next year, secondary three. Tomorrow, i'm going to spend the morning doing some light studying and then in the afternnon my mum is bringing me ballet shopping.=D I'm going to get pointe shoes,demi-pointe shoes, sot shoes leotards, ballet skirts, ballet shirts, tights, and leg warmers.=D I'm all excited. haha. BYE.
