[After a few hours trekking into the village from the forest, a tall, shirtless man dressed only ins simply white pants will be heading to a store in the village. It won't be the clothing store though, but instead the Smithy itself. If you happen to be in the weapon shop today, you'll find him looking around for his Power Ring

[Simon is in the weapon shop, too, looking for the rest of his weapons. He sees John, someone he doesn't recognize, and nods politely to him.]

[John regards Simon with a nod, taking a moment to give him a look over. Definitely unusual attire. It would certainly match the village's primitive setting.

He goes back to looking through the smithy. If what he picked up from the 'guide' was any indication, he should be able to find his ring here.]

Are you looking for a particular weapon? I do not work here but I visit this shop nearly every day.

[Every day? Someone needs a hobby.]

You could say that. I'm looking for a ring.

A ring? It will most likely be in the general store.

[greenlongjohns]

Not this ring. [He goes back to looking.]

Enchanted, then? Maybe it will be here. What does it look like?

[greenlongjohns]

[He gives a smirk.] That's one way of putting it.

[As he walks further into the store, he is able to sense its presence nearby. There we go. At first he tries to will it to his finger, but the reaction doesn't seem quite as powerful as he expected. A little more effort and the ring goes flying on his finger. When he turns around, his originally brown eyes will have taken on a green light.]

[Seeing John's eyes change color puts Simon on edge.]

A most curious ring...

[He knows that look. Although he would have rather avoided a situation like this, it was more important to make sure he had the ring and that it worked.] You've got that right. They don't just give these things away in gumball machines. [Holding the ring in front of him, the ring glows dimly and from his feet upwards, his typical Green Lantern uniform will form over top of the normal Luceti pants.]

[It changed his eyes, and his clothes, but clearly it must do more than that.]

It's a weapon?

That's one of it's uses. The name's John Stewart.

[Sounds like a normal enough name to him.] You're from Earth, then. Do you know of the Justice League?

I am from Earth, but I do not know of such a league.

Didn't think so. Judging from your clothes, you're from the wrong century anyways. [He turns and stretches out his right arm, creating a beam of light. It doesn't seem to be doing anything, other than illuminating particular items. He's scanning the entire smithy.]
