Eighth Light - [Action/Voice]
[Today is not a good day for John. Not only is it storming all around, buth e's been seeing things. He knows that they're fake. Simply echoes. But he's seeing things like Sinestro fleeing into a store. It may be fake, but he can't help but go looking anyway. Unfortunately as he does... something happens. Something unexpected. His ring seems to be shorting out as he suddenly goes flying through the roof of the grocery store, barely activating the shield on his ring in time before he hits the ceiling. Despite his best attempts, he finds himself unable to control his ascent. At least, not until it stops, at which point he's able to maintain position.
It happens again several times that day. At one point while in the air, John is ready to stop this bullshit, or so he thinks. As he goes soaring through the air, he doubles - triples- quadruples the effort he puts into his ring to stop himself from ascending. Unfortunately that amount of effort has the unfortunate effect of shorting out his ring. Considering he was already way above Luceti to begin with, John is falling from a pretty damn high position and with his ring not working, there's a high splat probability. With rain falling down all around him and his journal not on him, he's facing the grim certainty of death by Mushi.
Assuming he lives through this ordeal, he'll be contacting Ginko afterward on the journals, not bothering with a filter.]
