being asian!:
my grandfather is from lebanon and my best friend is chinese. We always joke that I am just as asian as he is because I have this Lebanese heritage which is technically on the asian continent.
1. biking:
   I love it. I used to ride my bike to school in the snow every day when I lived in New York. It was the one thing that made me feel the most atonomous when I couldn't drive and now that I don't have a car. I rode my bike everywhere this summer.
2. clothes:
   Getting new clothes is fabulous. Wearing something new makes you feel like a whole new person.

4. drum corps:
   Something i love to watch, and wish I could do.
5. flute:
   Something that I have worked very hard at and struggled substantially with. But that has given me the most satisfaction when I see improvement.
6. hindemith:
   my absolute favorite composer. Something about his music is just powerful and weird. I love playing it and listening to it.
7. lemons with salt:
   My grandpa taught me to do this. I always eat a lemon with salt before dinner at a restaurant to tide me over. I also buy whole lemons and eat them for a snack with salt as well.
