i am back from flagstaff, or as many 'cool' people call it, flag. the piping school was great. naill matheson was my instructor. he has won both gold medals and plenty of other competitions, but more importantly he's a great teacher. every part of the week was awesome. i learned lots of new tunes. john paterson's mare was the best. it's a 6 part jig that's really smokin. i also ordered some cds from amazon. kenny garrett - pursuance, kenny garrett - happy people, and pat metheny - question and answer. i just found out about a minute ago that amazon dosn't carry the pat album and neither do any of their affiliated stores. that sucks. i was really looking forward to some solid listening hours. i will probably order a replacement. anyways, any suggestions? it doesn't even have to be jazz. cool-e-oo-lee-oo!
