So, Helen and I went on an exodus to downtown Seattle today. The purpose was for Christmas shopping, and I'll just tell you right now that we both are having a merry Christmas!

I bought these but in a pearly gold patent leather! The bad news is that I found out that the Nordstroms downtown carries all the designer stuff, including MANOLO BLAHNIK SHOES! And my Chanel sunglasses that I'm as of now saving up for, meaning I don't buy anything else for myself next month except food and that's the only thing going on my American Express.
It's pretty bad when you're shoe shopping and think "OMG these are really cute shoes!" and then realize you have a pair that are exactly the same at home.
I found the perfect pair of Manolo Blahnik black patent mary janes with a 3" heel! $515, that's what I'm buying after the Chanel sunglasses. But I think I might just wait until the NY trip and go over to the actual Manolo store and buy them. That would be wonderful!
I also got some very cute things at Old Navy and American Eagle, where I found this pair of boxers with gingerbread men on them for Tim (Greece). They were so great I had to get them, not in any sort of a relationship-y way. I just want to clear that up!
