Living the Fourth
I haven't written in a while...where do I even begin?
Kairos was the most amazing experience of my life. I am so glad that I went. I made so many new friends and ended some feuds. I wish I could write about everything but of course I can't. It really did change my life though, my perspective on things, and did so much for me. I loved it, and I love the friends I made there.
I also did something I should have done a long time ago...I don't really want to get into it, but I think this conversation with my mother can pretty much sum it up.
My mom: "Sarah...did you close that door?"
Me: "Yes."
My mom: "Good. Because if you didn't, I was going to slam it shut."
Steph: "Me too."
Obviously, it's a metaphor. But anyway. I think I finally did the right thing. I'm not exactly happy or relieved, because it's a sad situation, but it had to be done. And if it hadn't been for Kairos, I don't think I would have ever been able to do it.
Other than that there isn't really much to report. Work is..whatever. It's Petsmart. I also need a snowball date...but whatever. I'll find one. Also, it's a major relief to have the whole college thing out of the way. I'm pretty much all set when it comes to that. Except for applying for financial aid, but that doesn't happen till January.
Aaand that's pretty much it.
