I've been reading over some of my old posts...
...and I came across posts about the TV show Smallville, which articulated my feelings about the ethics of the show - or rather the lack of them. It may well have seemed rather paranoid of me at the time, but now, in 2018, with what has been going on south of my border it no longer seems so to me, at least. Was the show a conspiracy? Of course not, and I never thought so. Smallville was a warning. It was a probably unintentional warning about what might happen when ethics are twisted and ignored and when evil people like Clark Kent/Superman are labelled as good people. The US now has a president with the ethics and morals of a weasel - sorry, real weasels, but I'm just using you as an example. You probably have better ethics and morals than does Trump! I'm not saying that the TV show caused this event, but it illustrated the lack of ethics and morals in the country of the US at large. Conservatives in the country were hysterical about gay marriage and they went looking for someone who might give them back their power and they found Trump.
