No longer a teenager.

Adam, I just want to say thank you for giving me the best birthday yet.  Sunday night was so much fun.  Kenny, Lynn, Adam, and I had an early thanksgiving dinner with his family since they will be out of town on Thanksgiving Day.  The food was awesome, and his family surprised me with gifts and a sweet freaking brownie oreo mound of goodness.  Then we played a dvd game called "Scene It?"  That was a lot of fun... Adam and I won of course. lol.  Then after dinner Adam and I went down to Ft. Myers beach and walked down by the water.  It was really cold at first when we were just walking, but then we started running around taking stupid pictures.  It sounds so cliche to take a long walk on the beach at night with the one you love, but it turned out to be amazing.  I love him so much, and with just the two of us down there playing around in the sand, kissing each other in the moonlight, it gave me such a warm feeling inside.  Sorry for those reading this post is a bit mushy, but screw you guys its MY journal. lol.  So after a few hours down at the beach we drove home, it was already my birthday at this point so Adam gave me my presents.  He gave me some Quizno's gift certificates... it's inner-fat girls b'day too you know! lol.  And he got us both tickets to the 99x-mas ball, which I'm so happy with.  I don't like getting stupid material things for my birthday, I asked him to get me something we can both enjoy.  So now we can both enjoy my present at the concert.. and maybe some Quizno's beforehand. lol.  Then we both went to sleep, slept in the next day until about noon.  Then we headed over to my house.  Adam stopped for some beer on the way and met me out on the dock with an ice cold one.  I was trying to get some sun, but the damn clouds fucked that up.  So instead we both hung out on the dock drinking beer and eating pretzels while we fished, made a fire in the chimenea, and took cover in the boat during the few bursts of rain.  It may not sound like much to anyone reading this, but I loved every minute of it.  I guess even the simplest things can mean the world to you when your with the person you love.  Eventually we came inside and got ready for dinner with my parents.  They gave me a card and of course my mom had to spice up the present by sending me on a scavenger hunt.  It was fun.  Adam and I read the clues and worked together to find 4 little brightly colored, oddly shaped, cordial glasses each filled with money.  I ended up with $500 in the end.  I wasn't expecting that much, but I look at it as a present for Adam and I while we're in NYC, cause I know we're gonna need the money.  He's also saving for NY, so we're gonna have a butt-load of money once we're up there.  Anyway, back to my b'day.  We went out to Houlihan's, my pick.  I love that place for some reason... never had a bad meal and the prices aren't ridiculous.  After dinner we came home had some b'day cake, and Adam and I headed to his house and then to the movies.  We saw the new Harry Potter movie.  It was pretty good, not too sure about the ending though.  I think we were both really tired so we didn't get the full effect of the movie.  Then we headed home, and curled up in each others arms in bed and fell asleep holding one another.  I love him so much, I kept catching myself yesterday, looking at him all googly-eyed.  I think I finally understand what all the girls at work mean when they say I get a big goofy smile when I talk to him on the phone or he comes in to see me at work.  He means everything to me, and yesterday just seemed to pull us even closer.  I can only imagine what our NYC trip is going to be like.

I love you baby!  Thank you again for being a part of my life.
