Only Texas Republicans can Save the Affordable Care Act in Texas.
So why is this? Because they are the only ones who can.
All State Wide Positions are held by Republicans.
Republicans Hold a Super majority in the State House.
For Me Personally:
All of the Elected Officials in Texas that Represent Me are Republicans.
Not a Single Democrat on my 2012 Ballot has a chance to win.
So Why do we need the Affordable Care Act?
A) Texas has the greatest number of uninsured people. People who despite Governor Perry's assertion do not have medical care. People who cannot afford Medical Coverage and the greatest number of people who are eligible for Medicaid and not signed up for it. What medical care they do get is from the most expensive source possible, the Emergency Department.
B) Each Individual Component of the Affordable Care Act is well received and popular, until you put them under the label "Obamacare."
