Republican Primaries: Quest for 1144

Mar 28, 2012 14:03

568  Mitt Romney still only has his thirty percent, but due to structure of state primaries is far ahead.
273  Rick Santorum* is the lead 'Not-the-Romney' but falling behind in the numbers.
135  Newt Gingrich with no hope refuses to back out of the limelight with the no grace, dignity or character.
50    Ron Paul   Persistent Barnacle of the Republican party.  Consistent: No change and no chance.
1026  Current Total
1258  Delegates Remaining

Been a while since I had the chance to comment.  But it seems Mitt Romney continues to wait at the Alter as his Republican Bride is dragged to the nave.  Rick Santorum* leads the fight to put the state under control of religion, though which religion and what his personal religious affiliation seems unclear to many republicans.  Newt Gingrich continues to be an embarrassment to Georgia, the GOP, the United States and the Human Race.  Ron Paul continues to be Ron Paul and just doesn't have the numbers.

On the side  Herman Cain continues his quest to garner attention for his upcoming show and books with a series of 'ads' that are either seeking to unite Child Protective Services and PETA, or are a homage to absurdest sketches like Monty Python. Jon Huntsman continues to be ignored as he makes reasoned intelligent remarks.  Michelle Bachman continues to strike even her most ardent supporters as somewhat rabid, but in a good way .  Rick Perry continues to be Governor of Texas.

Republican Party:  Not dead yet!
