Financial Conservative: Mitt Romney
Religious Conservative: Rick Santorum*
Libertarian Conservative: Ron Paul
and Newt Gingrich
Or as I think of them; See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil, and Evil.
Problem is Romney and Santorum* are both Financial Conservatives: Businesses ran by the Rich, for the Profit of the Rich. This is natural and Proper to them; the system that focuses wealth on their families, their friends and their backers, i.e. Rich People.
Romney is Conservative, Severely Conservative; However Rich people know that he really isn't that interested in imposing his particular Religious Beliefs on people. This does not make him a True Conservative to Social Conservatives.
Santorum* is a good Financial Conservative, but he is a good Religious Conservative too; Serious about enforcing his Religious beliefs on others, and Financial Conservatives are not interested in this. This brings in too much trouble and Financial Conservatives are afraid this will detract from their ability to maximize their profits; i.e. Santorum* is not Electable.
P.S.
Since when is being 'Rich' a bad thing? If you are carefully avoiding the use of the word 'Rich' then I think that is further evidence of something wrong with system.
