Venting
I collect vintage photography from the mid-1800s up until 1900. I belong to an online group that collects and admires these photographs. Today I found a really unusual photo on Ebay from the turn of the century. It was of a man pulled out of a river or lake. He was covered/packed in snow. Nearby was a wheel barrow that contained dry clothes, a doctor's bag, and a top hat. I described the picture online, and asked if it might be real. I later checked the site, and the owner of the site bought the picture! I am flabbergasted. He knew I was interested, it was Buy It Now, so I didn't want to buy it if it was just a staged picture. Oh well. Screw him.
