move in
So I *finally* moved in yesterday.
Brian bitched about having to get up SOO early when we didn'e even get down there on time. I told him just to hush and help bring all the stuff up to my dorm. I got a single this year!! Yay!
We got everything up in two trips. My car first then dad's. Then I had Dad and Brian move my bed to a different position in the room. We put some stuff up, like my tv and electronics, and clothes. Then Brian went to lunch with his roomies and I went to PF Chang's with Mum and Dad. It was really nice. I brought home leftovers, which, by the way, made my fridge smell like chinese food.
Then off to walmart. It was POURING there, since it's a bit from the school. So I was like let's spend awhile in here so the storm will move past. I also saw Sunny, his little brother, Omar and Jon there. All three were scared to go out in the rain to get the car. Wussies. Haha
Anyway, we ended up spending 2 hours and almost 200 dollars there. (I needed a bunch of things)
I got back to the dorm and Mum and Dad helped put this stuff away. Dad made my shelves while Mum made my bed. They told me to mingle with the roomies, so I did so, but I still helped. Then they left and Brian and Omar came over and got me to take me to their place to make dinner. I forgot my chicken over there btw. Damn.
So there was supposed to be a party at their place but it fell through and then they decided to go the Black and White frat party, so I helped them get ready for that, cuz I'm brilliant at it. :)
They came back soon after cuz the cops broke up the party, then we watched a bit of Kingpin and went to bed.
Got up this morning, came back to the dorm and was starting to move stuff around and finish moving in and I FOUND A FUCKING ROACH. I about shit myself.
More moving around yielded two more. One about 3 inches long. Disgusting!
So I figured out it was the white shelves I had brought in, cuz evidently FOOD got left in there over the summer out in my laundry room, which is roach territory. FOOD = candy canes. So Brian helped me and we cleaned it all out and washed it and now I am FINALLY ROACH FREEEE!!

Ok, well I'm off to meet my parents at the airport, to pick up my sister (she went to NY for her friend's birthday) and get a bunch of stuff I forgot at home. Blech.
