Amazing weekend for sports. Tennessee almost lost to Airforce....airforce for God's sake. FSU almost lost to Troy State and The Jags beat the Cowboys and the Braves beath the cubs, alot. Oh and I went to the UCF game....we kicked their ass. (then again it was UCF) 42-0. But it made me feel alot more confident because it was their first and only ( Read more... )

hey i thought it was awesome that they went for two. they almost had it. it keeps the game more exciting. i love it when coaches do the ballsy thing instead of the smart thing.

and airforce isn't coming back....tennessee just sucks. but hey GO AIR FORCE!!!

Tennessee WILL play for a BCS bowl and WILL beat UF I'm banking on it. I will also go ahead and predict that AF plays for a Nationally televised bowl and will be nearly ranked by the end of the season (possibly around number 35 or 40)

also, AF wasn't close, their RB got pwned with a capital P lol...thought they def should've gone for 1 and won it in overtime.

good point robby, however, tennesee was 24 or so before they were number 10...no one gave them a chance against cal and they not only beat cal but DEMOLISHED Cal

At first I was SOO pissed it happened. Then I thought back. Chances are, we probably wouldn't have gotten it in OT. They screwed up the attempt, there was one play everyone was saying they should have done and it would have worked.

And saying we weren't close? Please. What is close then? Tennessee should be embarassed.

I don't care though. First, we came so close to winning it shows we do have SOMETHING. And the only games I really care about are Army and Navy. We're going to stomp them. Then get privelages and free passes. Heck yeah.

We do have to respect UT though. I hear they have a big tradition of booing the incoming team, however they all agreed to not do it to us since we're a service academy. I also hear they got up and applauded for us after the game. Awesome they can show that kind of respect as a whole.

yea i meant that the 2 point wasn't close, he actually lost yards on the carry...AF should've and (in my opinion) would've wont in OT.
