I would just like to take this opportunity to say. . . Look Around. Look at the people you love beside you. All around you. What if tomorrow they were gone? What if you were to never see them again? People are, as we sit at our computers, running for their lives. . .running from their homes. Know what. Fuck that. Families and friends have been separated already. Their families and friends have died. We take these people for granted. We are blind to the fact that they change our lives. . .that without them, we wouldn't be the same. I like myself and the people around me. Take this opportunity to say "Thank you" to them or "I love you." I'm grateful for every interaction that life has tossed in my way, and it shouldn't take a catastrophe of this nature to make us realize this. But if it does, then thank God for that. At least we were taken from out of our dark, sheltered lives and finally shown some light. Toss away petty differences. Throw off these bad feelings for these people that have changed your life. There is a bigger, scarier, life-threatening problem coming our way. I pray for my family, friends, and their families who are forced out of their homes in Houston. What should you be saying, right now, to that person or persons that you have yet to say to them? Tell them something, anything. Let them know what they mean. Because tomorrow. . .who knows where we might be. Who knows. . . I love you. . .all. . .
