This idea is a 2-parter.

1) Supernatural/Green Hornet fusion crossover, in which Dean is the suave newspaper man who moonlights as a masked gangster of vigilante justice through con-artistry, and Castiel is his butt-kicking nameless sidekick.

2) OR, Alternatively, cast Crowley as Britt Reid and Gabriel as Kato. Eithe way, it'd be beautiful. Using tv-verse, I think, would be best for this idea.

Let's grab Kato from the 2011 movie, and Ianto Jones from Torchwood, and stick them in the same room together, with the prompt "coffee." Then we can sit back and ENJOY. X3

Bonus points if Kato is in uniform, and Jack and the Hornet (either tvu or m11u), also in uniform, are conversing off to the side.

This is one that I will probably do myself once I have the chance, but nnngh! Deep thoughts are a bit difficult with Rogen's Hornet (and until I'm actually able to see the orig series, he's all I have to go on)

Kato and Britt, over breakfast or on a stakeout, and all is silent until Kato speaks. "When I had the gun at your face, did you really think I would shoot?"

The conversation and the admissions and the FLUFF. It could be beautiful XD

I think the quoted prompt will work better in the M11U, but anyone interested in the tv universe should check out the latest modpost, in which I break my own rules and provide a series playlist.

I mentioned this on somebody's comment page, but when you have a character like the movie-verse Britt Reid,who's always acting immature, I love seeing them actually get serious about something. I would love to see the moment where it really hits Britt that he almost lost Kato; that Kato could have been killed. And naturally Kato finds him in the middle of his emotional breakdown. (Basically, I guess I'm asking for my good old favorite, hurt/comfort. Which I love reading, but am crap at writing.)

I think that's a gorgeous idea; I always like fic where a silly character gets serious. You've just reminded me of another idea as well.
