AHHHH, I knew this episode couldn't end happily with a wedding like I wanted. BUT FOR THE FIRST FEW MOMENTS THERE WAS JOY AND HAPPINESS. Arthur wanting to propose to Gwen, telling his uncle he'd have to respect his choice as queen...gah... *basks in the awesomeness*
And then Morgana had to go and have a tremendous plan for once. One that was actually good and painful. I loved the way they brought Lancelot back for this. I LOVE how they treat the love triangle in this show. It never ceases to amaze me how much I like it.
It's SO PAINFUL though when Arthur finds them together, and when he confronts Gwen. GAHH.
I really feel Merlin should have spoken up about Agravaine's involvement here though. I feel they're they're just dragging this out for dramatic purposes. At this moment the fact that Arthur doesn't know Agravaine is bad is irritating me MORE than the fact that Arthur still doesn't know Merlin has magic. Yeah, it's that irritating.
Regardless. I really enjoyed this episode even though it was terribly painful. And now I kinda find Morgana/Lancelot hot. *considers* If I had been her, I would have kept him around that hut a while longer. For personal purposes. *sidelong glance*
I can't believe we're already at episode nine. I can't believe this series is almost over. I always hate the point of winter when Merlin has ended and everything's headed for hiatus and there's only Christmas Who to look forward to. One bright spot in the middle of the gloom.
