Powers? Has to have them....

Upon watching the first episode of Merlin with Dan, the following conversation took place.

Dan: Do you watch any TV shows where the main character doesn't have Special Powers?
Me: *thinking* Not sure....Hmmm....Supernatural. Sam.
Dan: Has 'em. Check
Me: True Blood.
Dan: Has 'em. Check.
Me: Sarah Connor Chronicles...
Dan: Cameron's a terminator and John has Powers Of Persuasion.
Me: Legend of the Seeker. Seeker powers.
Dan: Check.
Me: Chuck.
Dan: Chuck has a computer. IN HIS HEAD.
Me: Okay, okay.

To be fair, nobody on Life on Mars had special powers. Although, Sam Tyler did time travel and he had Knowledge of the Future.
Robin, though (Robin of Sherwood)....was the Chosen Son of Herne. He could sense things.

Powers just make things more interesting! I can't help it.
