It was originally going to be ten things, but I only thought of seven. This is what happens when I get really bored at work and hang out in the stacks. Well, that and reading various things and scribbling away.
1. I want the brothers to have a full-out TALK about everything, and not get so mad. Or if they do get mad, they work it out. I know the writers won't do this because (1)that would leave little surprise!brother revelations at the end of episodes and (2)Dean won't talk about things that much. But who cares! At this point, the boys need to push each other for more information. Even if it hurts.
2. Ruby's motivation. I know they're dragging this out (as they are everything else, obviously, it's TV!) but I'd just like a hint of something more. Either signs that she's working deals with other demons or a hint that she's actually just doing this to help the Winchesters (ie. Sammy) simply because she wants to. (Whether that's due to because She-Remembers-What-It's-Like-To-Be-Human, or cause she loves Sam or just because it gets boring just being a demon...)
3. More fighting between the angels and demons. It's the pre-apocalypse, there should be more skirmishes. Of course, it's possible that's what Cas/Uriel have been up to of late...and why we haven't seen them. Or maybe they're hunting Anna down...
4. More Bobby. Just cause he's awesome.
5. MORE CLASSIC ROCK. More listening in the car, more debates over why it's better than today's music. Maybe Dean could go to a concert or something. C'mon, there's gotta be demons hanging around or weird shit happening around music venues.
6. Something to do with Lucifer - Lilith - what's going on with Sam and his powers...I want something to happen soon. I want to know where he went with Ruby that one time, and how come Dean didn't notice...
7. Ruby and Dean talking more(like in season 3...). What do they have in common? Sam, naturally. They need to compare notes about how he's coming along, solo-hunter and Antichrist-wise. You'd think Dean would have made her talk to him about what happened to Sam during the months he was dead. I think he would have with Blonde!Ruby. For some reason Blonde!Ruby and Dean had a lot more chemistry together. I could have seen either of the Winchesters getting together with Ruby in season 3, whereas season 4 Ruby is all for the Sam.
